I am a PhD candidate in Plant Biology. I was born in Madrid, Spain, where I grew up travelling between Madrid, Soria (~200 km north), and Lima, Peru. I left the house at 17 to go live in London, UK, where I studied Biochemistry. I now live in Urbana, IL.

Soy un candidato a doctorado en Biología de Plantas. Nací en Madrid, y crecí viajando entre Madrid, Soria, y Lima, Perú. Emigré a Londres a los 17 para estudiar Bioquímica. Ahora, vivo en Urbana, Illinois, en los E.E. U.U.

Broadly, that includes science (plants and synthetic biology) , programming (I am a recent R learner and want to use this blog to share my TidyTuesday findings), nature (fishing), sports and fitness , good food, cooking, Dungeons and Dragons, music, and movies. .
